Hand Lathe D'Arcy Ferrule

Here is a quick look at the "first operation" of creating a ferrule for our D'Arcy blade. I cut the outer diameter of the aluminum rod. From here I will taper it down then bore out a hole on the inside for the shaft. This outer diameter has to match the outer dimeter of the neck of the D'Arcy. Please stay tuned to see the rest of the process.

It fits!

Hand turned ferrules will always be slightly different. That is what makes them beautiful right?!
