Sweet Spot Experimentation with Robot

Here are a few clips of early testing we did with our putting robot. Much lip service is given to high MOI and "large sweet spots" and the like, but I was curious to see how that affects a ten foot putt. While not on a true green, you will see that the a 0.5" off-center shot toward the heel or toe is not nearly as significant as other factors such as putting surface imperfections. For a ten-footer it is not very difficult to strike a putter somewhere within that one inch diameter.
